Interview - Adam Moonshine Skateboards

1.Hey Ho! Let´s Go! How are you brother? what news there Adam in Moonshine Skateboards? 
2015 was a amazing 1st year for Moonshine and 2016 is looking even better. Some new riders/pros and some Rad distro deals happening already and we've just begun.

2.Tell us how you start as Moonshine Skateboards? 
Kinda got tired of not being able to purchase the kinda decks i wanted as a skater. So i started my own company with decks and riders that i wanted to see as a skater. simple as that. 

3.How is the underground skateboarder scene in your country/city? 
I live in a small city on the east coast of the usa. But these are the kind of scenes that are really amazing. Its not california here but its twice as rad and committed for sure.

4.Which is the sick team from Moonshine Skateboards?
Well i love everybody on the team and there on Moonshine because there badass- all of my riders blow doors when they skate. I couldnt single any of them out. There all amazing skaters!!!

5.At the moment how many skaters from the team from Moonshine have his own model from board? 
7 pros right now. Rich lopez, Jake Anderson, Ben Schroeder, Jocke Olsson, Sean Goff, Chris Guilfoose, and Gaby Ponce. A few more on the way as well.

6.Adam you too destroy boards actually? you prefer ride in a bowl,street,vert?
I prefer ramps to pools but i ride bigger transitions mostly when i can but i can have fun in a cool ditch or bank. I like all types of skating but i grew up a vert skater so my heart is still there.

7.You know some from the skateboaring scene in Peru? 
Ha. Just you brother!!

8.Moonshine Skateboards video? someday? 
Yes!!!! but im not rushing it. Some of the concepts i have for it havnt been done so its uncharted territory, but it will be rad.

9.Future plans in Moonshine? 
More models for sure, getting the team to events is a priority. Working with my new distro partners for sure.

Entrevista - Yulino Carbajal

1.Hablaaa Yulino! como te va hermano? todo bien por alli? en que lado de Peru estas en estos momentos? 
Hablaaa Diego, todo tranquilo hermano, ahora estoy por Chancay, al norte de Lima, montando y retomando algunos proyectos!

2.Cuentanos como te iniciaste dentro del skateboarding?
Fue hace 8 años maso menos, aca en Chancay, todavía estaba en el cole y el cuñado de mi mejor amigo montaba, primero se compró una tabla mi pata y montábamos los dos con el mismo skate jajajaja ya después de unos meses mi abuela me regalo mi primer skate que se lo compre a la leyenda viviente Yosip! 

3.Que es para ti el DIY?
El DIY es toda una filosofía o estilo de vida, es acabar con la dependencia hacia otras personas, hacer las cosas tú mismo, sin esperar que venga otra persona a darte las cosas en bandeja. Todo eso lo enfoco en mi skateboarding y el resto de cosas que hago, me parece muy huevon sentarte y esperar, prefiero ensuciarme y conseguir las cosas que quiero.

4.Actualmente tienes sponsor?
Monto para la marca de Franco Flores A.K.A. Maconhero jajajaja VOMITO SKATEBOARDING! Es una nueva marca de stove bolts y estan reciasos, así que ya saben vayan todos a chapar sus vomito bolts!

5.He visto que te has metido en varios proyectos DIY,cuentanos mas al respecto. 
Me empezó a llamar la atención todo lo del skate DIY hace un par de años, me entere de lo que hizo Pierre Jambe y todo su equipo en Ayacucho y luego en San Borja y me pareció increíble que los mismos skaters estén participando en la construcción de las pistas. Luego conocí a Cartucho y paralelo a eso a Jhon Herbozo, un loco de chancay, Jhon tenía un patio en el que había construido una miniramp sin ningún asesoramiento pero más divertida que la csm jajaja y le sobraba un espacio perfecto como para una pool, y ahí empezó todo, Pierre y Cartucho nos ayudaron un montón, pero lamentablemente el proyecto no pudo seguir. 
Ahora solo tenemos un pequeño proyecto en Chancay, El Pozo DIY, es un antiguo pozo de agua abandonado que lo estamos llenando de transiciones con todo el equipo de Proyecta, Construye y Patina, sígannos en fb para que vean cómo va quedando! 

6.Cuales son tus influencias dentro del skateboarding?
Esto es como 5 skater favoritos? Jajajaja no sé, mi skate tiene de todo un poco, pero en los últimos años lo ha definido lo que hace Pierre Jambe, Chris Russell, Ronnie Sandoval, Cory Kennedy y Jake Jhonson!

7.Cual es tu opinion acerca del movimiento skateboarding de Peru? 
Tengo solo 8 años viendo los cambios del skate en mi país y me gusta bastante como está ahora, hay muchos skaters tratando de hacer lo suyo, como Diego Rodriguez, Nicolas Cespedes, Jose Leon y un montón mas, y eso es bueno, nacional y de skaters para skaters, así debería ser siempre, sin oportunistas!

8.Cuales son tus best-tricks?
Jajaja mi special que chucha? Creo que no tengo definido mis best-tricks,pero me gusta ir muy rápido, en el bowl y en la calle, hacer ollies to disaster en las rampas y subirme a las paredes en la calle.

9.Has viajado a otros países a destruir spots? 
Si, estuve en Brasil y Argentina y conocí gente y spots increíbles, creo que eso es lo más lindo del skateboarding, todas las experiencias que te permite vivir.

10.Cuales son tus planes futuros bro?
Esta semana acabar el DIY jajajaja pero para este año quiero empezar a filmar para un nuevo proyecto que tengo con mi hermano Alejandro Sarmiento, se llama Sorry for VX y ya más adelante se van a ir enterando de que trata.

11.Yulino tus ultimas lineas y Auuuuuuuuuuua
Nunca se bajen de sus tablas porque es lo más divertido que hay, y dejen de esperar que el skate les de algo y ustedes denle algo al skate por favor!

Interview - Jade Ryan

1.Hey Jade! how are you all good there? greetings from Peru!
Hey Diego, I'm going good. The weather has been great here in Australia so plenty of skating has been going down.

2.Tell us how you start in the skateboarding scene? which are your influences?
I'm not exactly sure what got me into skateboarding. I was a really keen surfer until I borrowed a deck from a friend and I've been hooked ever since. I don't know if I have any "influences" but i really enjoy watching skaters like Mike V and William Spencer do their thing.

3.How is the skateboarding scene in your city?
The skate scene is pretty gnarly in and around Sydney. I don't hit many skate parks regularly but the street scene is definitely going strong.

4.You are agree what the skateboarding no is a sport? is a life style! a underground style.
I've heard a lot of commotion about this of late and i don't know how to define skating or whether or not it should be defined. I just love to do it regardless or what category it may or may not fall into. I see it as freedom.

5.What you think about the diy and underground skateboarding?
D.I.Y skating is rad. I've been to a few spots but there's always room for more.  There's an awesome D.I.Y spot about 20 minutes from my place with some good rails and drops. I definitely want to add some more to it soon.

6.You have sponsors actually?
Yeah, i have a few "sponsors" and gnarly people that help me out with the gear i need. Street Plant Brand, Astro-Zombies, Outsider Skateboards Australia, Mako Grip Tape and Not Like You Fanzine have all kept me in style and geared up.

7.Your best tricks?
I'm not sure, i can throw down a solid handplant and love busting out Boneless 180 and other variations down a nice set of stairs. 

8.Bowl? street?
I love skating street, bowls can be fun sometimes but i love the inconsistencies and vibe of the streets. Sometimes you find unridden treasures to thrash and i love that aspect of street skating.

9.You know the skateboarding scene from Peru?
I haven't really seen many Peruvian skaters but checked out some videos online last night. It looks like you have a strong skate scene over there.

10.Future plans Jade?
I'm not exactly sure what the future holds. Probably a lot of skating, working and saving money to travel more. Other than that skate coaching and enjoying the random ride that is life.
