Christian Cooper a.k.a BLKPRJKT - Gallery

The first pool I ever rode back in 1976 I used to ride barefoot because I didn't know you were supposed to wear shoes. Here's a photo of me riding barefoot in Malibu, Ca.

Assorted Stereo skateboards graphics from 1995-1998.

Self-promotional graphic from 2012. Some lucky people got t-shirts.

2015 Anti Hero Jeff Grosso "Pass-A-Fist / Dirty Lama" graphic. Anti Hero called- "we need a graphic by tomorrow morning."

2009 The Simpsons / 20th Century Fox consumer products artwork. I used to work on art for TV and Films including Sons of Anarchy, The Simpsons, Avatar, Futurama, etc.

2007 Drone American Made deck graphics.

2015 Real Skateboards Dennis Busenitz "NEVR DULL" graphic. (un-used)

2013 "Suicide King" digital artwork, made for a longtime friend.

2016 "Have you seen Jim" graphic. I made this because Jim Thiebaud represents everything about being in love with skateboarding and never stopping. Animal Chin might have vanished, but Jim isn't going anywhere.

2016 Anti Hero Jeff Grosso "The End Game" graphic. This one was really fun to create, all of the AH team members at the time are shown in this artwork.

2017 Anti Hero Jeff Grosso "Crucifried" graphic. Jeff was hell-bent on having me do a follow-up graphic to "The End Game", and he wanted an image of himself being crucified.

2017 Anti Hero "18AH Homeless Improvement" graphic series. I hate IKEA. I really do.

2.Tell us how you started this chaotic project? is a great idea to support the true and underground skateboarding!
Everything started in 2013. When i was Angry for that, in Slovakia doesnt people who keeping skateboarding RADICAL and underground..keep it real..you know what i mean.
That all started when i drew skateboard desings for fun with SKATEROCK in my ears hahhhaa..in this moment i get a idea..start own small UG skateboarding brand called RATZ SKATES. Why RATZ? Coause rats live in underground hahah.

3.What are your influences and motivations to continue supporting skateboarding underground?
My biggest inspiration is my obssesion to SKATE, like Muir from SUICIDAL sing..Beware he´s POSSESSED TO SKATE! Its a big big fun to see RAD stuff in skateboarding, small  UG skate brands like Ratz, its big fun to see when your drawnings are in stuff like stickers, patches, shirts, and its fucking RAD when you have sick team, people who keep skateboarding radical too..and its fucking sick when if you cant skate, you do something what is about skateboarding, like brands..post pictures, videos, draw designs like the 80s,doing stuff..etc.
Its another dimension of skateboarding for me hahh.

4.Ratz Skates have stuff? like t-shirts,patches,stickers?
YES! But now we have only patches and stickers. But we had a shirts,decks..and i want to tell, thats all RAD but its not so much about the stuff..its about keeping skateboard ROOTS alive and skateboarding RADICAL.

I really love skating walls,curbs..street lights..everything is spot!!

6.You know the underground skateboard scene from Southamerica?
I dont know about this scene. Only that..what i saw in Creature video Hesh Law scene from Peru..i saw in this scene Rad spots..really RAD. The skate scene in SouthAmerica must be sick...better than Slovak.

Interview - Matt Hillier (Beer Slash)

1.Hey Matt! creepy greetings from Peru! hows going the things here?
Hey Sk8 Coach mag, thanks! Alls good in England but no surf and raining today, so not so fun.

2.Matt tell us more about Beer Slash...How was born this malevolent project into the surf and skateboard?
Beer Slash just kind of made itself. I was filming some skating for the Sardinian brand "Old Boys Skate Club" and we set up a shot where my friend Adrian Willard of Tiger Bones Tattoo slashed some empty beer cans off the bowl coping.
I edited the footage with the title "Beer Slash" on it and when I sent it off to Andre the guy that runs Old Boys said he wanted some more footage from the Beer Slash crew.
I thought that was a pretty rad name and thought I would film for my own video of us and call it Beer Slash.
I never made the video in the end but I got some stickers made and gave them to my friends.
Some of them mentioned that I should make some T-shirts with Beer Slash on it, firstly I thought "no way, too much hassle" but I came around to the idea and started getting some made.

3.Your influences and motivation in Beer Slash?
The influences for Beer Slash are 80's and early 90's skating, surfing and punk rock. Plain and simple.
The motivation is to make a fun small brand with those influences.

4.You run another proyect paralell to Beer Slash?
Currently no other projects although I have a couple of new ideas that may happen in the future.

5.Explain about the underground scene into surf and skateboard about your city/country mate.
Well I skate mainly at home so I don't know about the rest of the UK!
In Peacehaven we have a really fun mini combi bowl.
We have sessions there often and take a PA system and skate super early in the morning till mid day or have BBQ's and skate in the evening.
Theres some great underground brands from out of our area too as well as Beer Slash theres Bowl Skaters and Pig City.
As far as surfing in the UK goes I'd say we're all underground especially where I live.
The waves mainly suck but the scene is strong.
I try and surf on my own as I hate crowds, pretty much like any other surfer.

6.You know the underground scene into surf and skateboard from Southamerica?
I know a little bit but not much.
I know you've got some good waves there.
Ive always really liked watching Brazilian surfer and tattooer Etam Paese on youtube who rips at airs, he's like the Brazillain Christian Fletcher.
I really like Lodo boards, hand made skateboards out of Brazil, I just sent a bunch of stickers to one of their riders who asked me for some. "Hi" Ariel Raymundo if you;re reading this!
Of course from talking to you and looking at your blog Sk8 Coach Mag.

7.What kind from merch have Beer Slash?
t-shirts,hats,stickers,buttons?
Currently we have T-shirts, Long sleeve T-shirts, crew neck sweat shirts, hats and stickers in stock with art work from tattooer Adrian Willard and skate ripper Johnny Abernathy.

8.How the maniacs can find the merch from Beer Slash?
