1.Saludos desde Perú Inferno Sebas como va todo allí?
Que tal!!! Por aquí poniendo todo en orden, en casa planificando un poco la semana.
2.Comencemos esta podrida entrevista con una pasada de tu caótica existencia dentro de la escena underground del skateboarding en tu ciudad,como así empezaste a destruirte las rodillas y tobillos?
Empecé como muchos con un skate de juguetería en el 87 tirándome por bajadas sentado. Después nos mudamos de Argentina a España con mi familia y aquí conocí el skate de verdad, le quite el freno a mi patinete y aprendí a hacer ollies , mirar revistas, ver videos, los nombres de los trucos, los profesionales de la época… Y nunca mas me baje de la tabla y de este mundo fantástico.
3.Cuentanos un poco sobre que trata Escombro?
Escombro es un spot do it yourself, que realizamos con los colegas en el barrio campamento, Madrid, España.
Nos autosugestionamos para conseguir dinero y recursos y vamos ampliando, mejorándolo con nuevos módulos, arreglando los que se rompen, limpiando…
Tiene una escena brutal con gente mayormente arriba de los 30 años y nos lo pasamos de lujo ahí perdiendo el tiempo, como a los 15.
4.Cual es tu opinión sobre la existencia de los rollers,scotters? deberian de morir?
No creo que deban morir, son de otra especie, el que es skater lo es y punto, tenemos nuestro modo de vida, nuestra historia y por mas que los x games o los skateparks públicos quieran meter a todos bajo el nombre ¨deportes extremos¨ yo opino que son cosas que no se tienen que mezclar. Siempre son los skaters los que consiguen las firmas para las pistas publicas y después se plagan de bicis, rollers, scooters, trineos… una mierda.
En escombro son bienvenidos skaters, pero que respeten el lugar y a los locales, se lleven su basura, colaboren y cuiden el spot, son los códigos en cualquier lugar del mundo creo.
5.Comentanos un poco como es el movimiento diy underground skateboarder en tu ciudad/pais?
En españa esta bastante bien, hay varias ciudades que cuentan con su propio DIY y cada vez son mas. Me parece muy bueno que se compartan técnicas de construcción e ideas para que la gente se motive y haga cosas por todos lados. Creo que el movimiento DIY es muy bueno para la escena, es el alma del skateboarding, buscar, hacer, moverse, inventar, crear, no hay limites, no importa nada.
Así que ya lo sabes, consigue material con tus amigos y ármate tus spots por ahi, transforma las plazas, la entrada de tu casa, lo que sea.
6.Existen medios de informacion diy underground sobre skate en tu ciudad/pais? tipo zines,webs?
Estrictamente DIY creo que no hay nada, aparte de los instagram o redes sociales de cada uno. Nosotros usamos el instagram escombrodiy para mantenernos informados.
7.Sebas ahora dinos mas acerca sobre Sin Piedad.
Jaja, sin piedad es un concepto para un diseño que hice del que saqué unas camisetas, basado en un grabado medieval. Representa ese sentimiento que uno tiene cuando ve a las plagas invadir sus spots, jajaja el demonio skater los castigará!!!! Hago diseños para diferentes cosas, pinto, foto, video… toda esa mierda artística. También organizo un campeonato de skate anual para mayores de 30 años que se llama Lazy Legs, pueden seguirlo en Facebook, es brutal.
8.Conoces algo de la escena de Perú? bueno te dire que aca no hay mucho diy ni underground solo algunos que ya su forma de vida esta marcado por esto.
No conozco nada, pero tengo muchas ganas de hacer un viaje para alla.
9.Cuales son los spots que recalcarias de tu área?
A mi me gusta mucho ir a Escombro.
La iglesia de la lie es otro spot muy bueno de madrid, que lo recuperamos arrancando los stoppers que habían pisto.
También buscar cosas raras por ahi, cuanto mas perdidas y raras mejor. Me voy con la bici por los barrios buscando movidas, todo es patinable, hay que salir por ahí y expresarse.
10.Bowl? street?
Street toda la vida, ojalá aprenda a patinar bowl antes de los 50.
11.Cuales son los planes que tienes para este mórbido futuro?
Seguir construyendo en escombro, pintar también ahí unos murales, nuevas camisetas y parches, algunos tatuajes para los soldados del spot y pasarla bien, a ver si me da tiempo a todo.

LLEVO PATINANDO MUCHO TIEMPO DE MI VIDA Y HACE TRES AÑOS ABRI UNA SKATESHOP EN SAN LUIS POTOSÍ, LA RAZÓN FUE MUY SIMPLE Y ES QUE CUANDO IBA A UNA TIENDA DE MI CIUDAD A BUSCAR COSAS CASI NUNCA ENCONTRABA TABLAS CON GRÁFICAS OSCURAS O AGRESIVAS NI ROPA QUE ME GUSTARA, ENTONCES PENSÉ EN ABRIR MI PROPIA TIENDA Y OFRECER UNA ALTERNATIVA QUE NO EXISTÍA!
AL POCO TIEMPO, ME DI CUENTA QUE EN LA INDUSTRIA DE MÉXICO NO HABÍA MUCHAS OPCIONES DENTRO DEL SKATEBOARDING QUE ME GUSTARAN (PERSONALMENTE), MUCHOS DISEÑOS Y GRÁFICOS TRADICIONALES NADA EXCITANTES! EMPECÉ A PREGUNTAR Y A INVESTIGAR COMO SERÍA POSIBLE INICIAR CON UNA COMPAÑÍA PROPIA, HACIENDO USO DE TODA LA IDEA Y VISIÓN QUE TENGO DEL SKATEBOARDING, AL FINAL ENCONTRÉ UNA OPCIÓN TREMENDA PARA MAQUILAR LAS TABLAS EN CALIFORNIA CON LA CALIDAD IDEAL, QUE ERA LO QUE MÁS ME APURABA, OBVIAMENTE OFRECER UN PRODUCTO DE LA MEJOR CALIDAD. DE LAS GRÁFICAS NO TUVE, NI TENGO PROBLEMA ALGUNO POR QUE A TRAVÉS DE AÑOS DE TOCAR EN BANDAS DE PUNK Y HARDCORE SIEMPRE EH TENIDO CONTACTO CON ARTISTAS INCREÍBLES QUE ENTIENDEN PERFECTAMENTE LAS IDEAS QUE TENGO EN LA CABEZOTA! 3.Como describirías la escena skateboarder underground en tu país? si la hay? se promueve el DIY?
LA ESCENA ES MUY MUY GRANDE EN MÉXICO, CADA VEZ HAY MÁS NIÑOS Y NIÑAS JUGANDO CON PATINETAS Y SE ABREN MÁS SKATE PARKS PÚBLICOS FINANCIADOS POR EL ESTADO. ESO ES EN GENERAL.
EL LADO UNDERGROUND DEL SKATEBOARDING SIEMPRE VA A EXISTIR POR QUÉ ES LO QUE MANTIENE VIVO EL FUEGO. NO LO MANTIENEN MARCAS MULTINACIONALES, LO MANTIENE LA GENTE QUE PATINA DIARIO O CADA QUE PUEDE. QUE PATINA POR QUÉ EL SKATEBOARDING ES PARTE DE SU VIDA. ESE ES PARA MÍ EL UNDERGROUND, HACER LO QUE HACES POR QUÉ ESO ERES, ESO SIENTES... JAMÁS PARA QUE TODO MUNDO TE VEA Y TE APLAUDA O RECONOZCA.

4.Cuales son los spots diy que tu ciudad o tu pais tiene?
NO PODRÍA DARTE UN RECUENTO EXACTO DE TODOS LOS DIY SKATE SPOTS DEL PAÍS POR QUÉ PIENSO QUE NO ACABARÍAMOS NUNCA JEJE! PERO PUEDO HABLARTE DEL SKATEPARK QUE CONSTRUIMOS EN MI BARRIO. INICIAMOS HACE CASI 14 AÑOS EN UN SOLAR QUE SE CONSTRUYÓ PARA HACER LOS DUCTOS DE CONCRETO PARA LA CAÑERÍA DEL FRACCIONAMIENTO! AL FINAL DE LA OBRA QUEDÓ LIBRE UN ESPACIO GIGANTESCO CON PISO PERFECTO PARA MONTAR SKATE; CASI TODOS MIS AMIGOS DEL BARRIO Y YO NOS ENSEÑAMOS A PATINAR AHÍ. HAY MUCHO CORAZÓN PUESTO EN ESE LUGAR. RECIÉN CONSTRUIMOS UN MEGA LEDGE DE TRES NIVELES DE ALTURA CON UN BARANDAL EN LA PARTE DE ARRIBA. PERO CUANDO ME LO TOME ENSERIO UNOS AÑOS DESPUÉS, FUE CUANDO MI AMIGO EDSON VINO DE SONORA A SAN LUIS Y ME ENSEÑÓ A HACER OLLIE Y 180. UNA PATINETA VIEJA Y UN MONTÓN DE CINTAS DE PUNK ROCK CAMBIARON MI VIDA!!!! ESO FUE COMO EN 1997.
8.Conoces algo de la escena skateboarder underground en Perú?
SE QUE HAY UNA ESCENA MUY FUERTE Y SE DE ALGUNOS PROS DE ALLÁ Y QUE MUCHOS EQUIPOS DE AMÉRICA DEL NORTE SIEMPRE ESTÁN VISITANDO PERÚ. SE DEL HENSLEY SKATE BAR DE MI AMIGO LUCHO! QUISIERA SABER MÁS. CONOCER SPOTS Y LOS ESTILOS QUE SE MANEJAN POR ALLÍ.
9.Veo que eres seguidor del crustcore,grindcore y mas música violenta y directa,algunas palabras sobre esto? ASÍ ES MI AMIGO. MÁS DE LA MITAD DE MI VIDA ME LA EH PASANDO TOCANDO EN BANDAS DE PUNK VIOLENTO, CRUST, DBEAT Y GRINDCORE. HASTA LA FECHA SIGO TOCANDO Y SALIENDO EN GIRA, GRABANDO Y TODO ESO! ES UNA PARTE DEMASIADO IMPORTANTE EN MI VIDA QUE AL PARECER SEGUIRÉ HACIENDO HASTA QUE ME MUERA!!!

1. Huaycal Attack! Infernal hails from Peru hell!
Mark: Okay sweet.
Ryan: Bloody dripping swords from Oakland!
2. Tell us how is formed this chaotic band called Los Huaycos?
Mark: One day after eating Thai food on Shattuck somewhere drinking fancy beers with Renzo we talked about starting a project.
Ryan: These knuckle heads asked me to play drums one day, so we went and jammed and it instantly worked.
3. How is the hardcore punk trash scene where you live?
Mark: I don’t go to as many shows as I used to because I can barley afford it, so I couldn’t really tell you but it’s been lots of fun. People from all over the world come here for punk only to find out that the rent is increasingly high and that there is no work for them or only work that pays shit. It’s incredible for me that there’s punks that can afford to live in San Francisco, there is a huge ‘green’ industry that helps back some.
Ryan: Well tuesday is trash night on our block, so unless we’re too wasted someone has to remember to take it outside. Oh Thrash scene?! It’s pretty tight. All the legends are from the bay.
4. I think what the skateboard is a basic influence in Los Huaycos, tell us more about this?
Mark: I just like doing slappies with some revert variations and boneless, I like companies like Assault and Welcome where the weirdness of skateboarding comes out. It reminds me of what got me into skateboarding in the first place. I don’t understand the X-Games or Street League side of it at all, it’s completely boring to me.
Ryan: We’re influenced by 80’s skate rock and skateboarding in general. Most of us have been skating since we were kids so it just comes naturally to us. Huaycal slappy attack!
5. Hell yeah! Los Huaycos have his own skateboard model, as it occurred this idea?
Mark: Yeah, The Huayco Stick it skates great and looks awesome, sick shape, sick Andrei Bouzikov art. We just made four, one for the each of us so far. Garzo used to have one, the story about how it got lost is super crazy. We’re gonna make another model for December.
Ryan: Obviously it was largely inspired by the Vision Psycho Stick. We modeled it after the shape and color scheme with similar aesthetics. Mark and I worked on the shape for a couple of weeks, and then we all got together to finalize the design.
6. Huaycos lyrics?
Mark: I try to help a little bit but most of it comes from Garzos mind and stuff that’s happened to us since we started the band.
Ryan: Nothing but beer, tits and satan; and a little skating, after beer.
7. How many stuff have out in the dirty streets Los Huaycos?
Mark: 2 cassettes, 3 Tshirts designs, and the Huayco Stick.
Ryan: The first pressing of the debut cassette on my Pfantone Labs label sold out in a couple of weeks. Cintas Merfi (Renzos label) released the second press. We also have our own line of deep sea fishing poles and plus size unisex undergarments.
8. Basically influences?
Mark: Dischord early HC era and 90’s werido eras, Early SST, Sonic Youth, Scholastic Deth, Token Entry. Some Cliff Burton and Geezer bass lines.
Ryan: Basically, Dinosaur Jr., Black Flag, Civil Dismay, Discharge. Peruvian metal masters Hadez and Goat Semen.
9. I know what Mark and Garzo have another proyects here in Peru like are Asmereir and Methamorphosis, Ryan and Renzo have another proyects too?
Mark: Renzo plays in Kinder from Lima also, and they recently played some California shows.
Ryan: I used to play drums for Experimental Dental School for a few years. I also have a few laboratory / ambient / analog electronic industrial projects… Geldings, Starlite Coffins, and Direct Cut To:.
10. Chaotic and future plans in Los Huaycos?
Mark: Play in Lima in December, working on new songs, hope to go do a SoCal tour as well as North West. I hope to go to the East Coast at some point too. I’ve never been to Europe or Japan, getting there with Los Huaycos would be epic.
Ryan: I wanna eat many Peruvian tacos with many hotdogs and ketchups.
